Hello !

A girl who leads a virtual and philosophical life.
She has a wise goat in her brain who takes a walk in a new quadrant of the globe everyday .
When back home from its grazing path it shares her heart with the girl whom she confides in.
The girl listens to her , gets poetic sometimes.
Someday she feels rather very informed when she gets to know about the technological advances.
Sometimes lands herself in a jigsaw situation.
Sometimes she is rather bewildered yet confident.
Spriritual sometimes , rather emotional sometimes!

Result Aftermath

Mwahahaah! * Evil Grin *

A fortnight back more than my results , the thing I was bothered about was ...My attitude. Not towards the people or society but towards my colleagues...Well it was no wonder when things turned up in the way they usually turn out to be..But I didnt want to do it..But all the results were in my hand...THE ENTIRE MARK SHEET was in my gadget , and I was the one informing people their marks.

At a point of time my sibling even quoted that * You are busy with your friends . Share some joy with your family too... *  . But I was high on heels about the attention I got from people who never ever bothered to call me.

I had an intuition that I was on the way being prance , materialistic and ill mannered personality... But this world bad bad world with grey green people like me , never lets me get to down to earth mode!

Complexion stigma

HEYLO!
Yesterday , my mum was speaking about an infant who had dusky complexion about an year ago . But now sparks with a fair complexion! She found it really ironic... I told her , that her mommy dearest has  tonnes of home remedies which she conceals in addition to the skin enlightening creams she uses over her toddler ...My mum was kind of surprised but didnot totally digest the fact that long usage of such products does actually enhance your complexion.
We live in an era were your beauty is graded first with your complexion , then your sense organs last but not the least your stature. Oh come on! nature and ardor are far off thing to have an impression over a person. Then is the voice and bla bla I 'll not start a beauty blog right away but these are the facts!

The pale wants to get paler.
Lad wants to turn into a valor.
Dusky wants to get whiter!

Situation ripe for idealising whiteness as the height of beauty.
I know this is not the fact with all but yes this is the case with lumpsome of the people.I being a fondation buff too ...I happened to read on an article by Yahoo! over skin enlightment and following are some of the major aspects it was based on...

  •  Vaseline producing a particularly offensive “skin lightening” Facebook app to accompany their product launch in 2010.
The Vaseline app beckons Indian users to download their profile picture and drag a line across their face that digitally transforms their dark looks to a dramatically lighter visage.

  • several companies have taken the obsession with fair skin to a new level, releasing products that lighten not just the users face, but their armpits and genital areas.
Hardly a moment can be spent watching TV before a Bollywood star pops on screen sharing their transformation from dusky to milky-white  !

  • What’s next? Eyeball bleaching? Selling genetic alteration tools so parents can determine their children’s skin tone before birth?
  •   in India, where skin whitening creams outsell Coca-Cola, the demand is high.
Where has this obsession with fairness originated?

due to ancient scriptures, epics, or folk tales. The good character is always portrayed as being fair in complexion, suggesting that the fair are fair dealing and the dark complexioned has evil intentions.
British rule, where being white meant you were a ruler and being brown meant you were the ruled.

Why skin creams are harmful ?
Even more problematic than the society-wide desire for fair skin are the fair skin creams themselves, which cause skin cancer, liver, and kidney damage.
There are two main chemicals found in most skin lightening products – hydroquinone or mercury, both extremely toxic.
  • Hydroquinone is a powerful chemical used in photo processing and the manufacture of rubber.
  • Mercury in the form of mercury chloride is carcinogenic and appears on a list of toxic substances that can only be purchased via pharmacies with prescribed labels.
Both of these chemicals prevent the production of melanin, initially making the user appear lighter.
In the long term, however, these chemicals actually react with ultra violet rays and lead to more pigmentation and premature ageing. Typically, when this happens, the user applies more skin lightening cream, creating a vicious cycle.

Police ! Police !Where is the law ?
Here you go ...
You must be wondering: how are these creams legal? They wouldn’t be sold in India if they were that harmful, right?
Well in some countries, they aren’t legal. Certain skin-lightening products containing hydroquinone are already banned for sale in the European Union, Australia, and Japan. The United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) have put forth a proposal to ban the over-the-counter sale of such products. Many countries are taking steps to ban “over the counter” lightening products, making a prescription (and dermatologist approval a pre-requisite).
I loave my India !!! There is no such rule!
Hawww !!! What do you do now ???
Tadaaa!
Keep in mind that it’s not possible to safely lighten your skin completely and that advertisements and TV shows (and also those Bollywood stars) do not present realistic results from usage of whitening cream.
If you still feel the need to buy skin creams, check out this article that has the best information on the types of creams to buy.

Bear THIS in mind . . .
It’s important to understand that different regions of India will produce a diversity of skin types and colouring. What is presented as the ideal of beauty, white skin and light eyes, can be attained in the short-term by using these lightening creams. But over a long-term they will be severely detrimental.
India, as a culture, must also look inwardly to redefine what is beautiful. A majority of those walking around on the street don’t look like the models on television. Unlike bodyweight or hair colour, there is not a healthy way to lighten skin (at least not to the degree expressed in commercials). The pressure from society, family members, and even the matrimonial section in the newspapers, is directly contributing to an obsession with light skin that has persisted for centuries.
Question time !!!
So ask yourself: Is lighter skin really worth my health?

Enjoy and let enjoy!

Joblessness

Hey people !
Before I begin my thing I thought to give an oxford definition for what actually employment means in economic terms and other related terns like voluntary and involuntary employment .But post recession , everybody has an idea about terms as standard as inflation which were thought to be greek and latin few years back.

The other day I happened to turn my blogger and look at the stats and what I found?
The maximum views where from India  and USA ! USA? gave the max views. My sibling came from nowhere and poked head into the pc and was like , are americans so jobless or studious?
The questions remains the same !

Alexander - The conqueror

Hello people!
This vacation is kind of different to me because I scourged myself with tasks I don't usually do like cooking , cleaning , reading novels etc ...

So on one such blue moon day I happened to read the book on Alexander the great by Jacob Abott . Before I comment over Alexander's character , I 'd like to say something about the writer himself... Well this is also a side of the coin and MY opinion which hardly matters  :P As a kid I was amazed to see his conquests over a map in my history book . He was my ultimate hero and the conquest he made in such a brief time was remarkable for a twenty odd personality...

The writer I felt was partial , in spite of his efforts to stay neutral he stumbled at every nook and corner and portrayed Alexander as a grey character of the novel. But at the conclusive part I felt he was just.

As it was a barbarian age , or the age of conquerors where the conquest was made only by the man power rather than mind power. I found him reasonable and just in matters of violence .Being a teenager he had the ambition of ruling or I'd say conquering the world which every other prince has .But his father's death and the circumstances then made him the king of macedonia and his dashing , impetuous yet cool behavior made him swipe the asia minor and persia.

Guilt makes men afraid. It not only increases the power of real dangers, but predisposes the mind to all sorts of imaginary fears...-Jacob Abott , writer on pretext : Some astrologers predicted that he would die in Babylon and asked him to avoid the place. He didin't and died in less than one year.

The thing I observed was that the conquest was rapid only under the guardianship of Parmenio ,his military official and until the ruler was not an alcoholic.Soon after which he turned haughty , boisterous and died after few years. His death came as a joy to some and fury to the others .

All things apart he was an ambitious teenager who changed the history with his indomitable courage , impetuous scorn .

Enjoy and let enjoy!
