Self obsession is no new word today. People say ,It's the same as narcissism, when you have an excessive interest and admiration for yourself. It's so much that it shuts out everyone else. It's when you're selfish or that no one else is important as you, to you. It's when you're conceited or full of yourself. When you're constantly worried about yourself--only yourself.
Furthermore: To not concern ones-self with other peoples thoughts,feelings.
Well, Ain't this amazing ? I mean we live in an era were you can trust nobody . You may be emotionally attached to a handful of people though . But you know , mankind is synonymous to deceit . Its that except for a handful of people namely your well wishers nobody is actually pleased with the way you progress .People appreciate your retrogressive metamorphosis rather than your budding phase of life.So , once you stop bothering what people would talk about ... Hey ! CONGRATULATIONS! Towards your first step towards broad mindedness . But this gets grey shades when you don't look back and see the amount of change you have been through .
Self- centered , smugness, ego, Narcissism.
Woah! we live in democracy ,who the hell is careless about their own personality development ? Everybody wants to look best , think better and do good . Once a person gets a lil extra with these qualities , he is called narcissist , smug , self centered . I personally believe that everybody is equally self centered . There are only a handful of people who go beyond the extent of just thinking about it and talk about it . Then THE OXFORD DICTIONARY adds up another word to its already existing innumerable pages ... Narcissist , Self obsessed .
treat your own interests and concerns as more significant than other people's.
You ought to do this , Shouldn't you ? Everybody has their own 24 hours . So each one should bother about their own 24*7 count . So once you seriously begin to think about yourself . You do no harm to others as well . It simply leaves people astonished . You harm/hurt others when you plan to board two buses at a time . That is try to please people by praising / working for your own good . Why the hell would I bother listening to somebody's autobiography if it has no materialistic or entertainment value ?
